With the all-new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray, General Motors seems to have addressed the biggest complaint about the C6 Corvette — the low-grade interior. The company has released a new video highlighting the design of C7’s much more premium, driver-oriented cockpit.
“The 2014 Corvette Stingray offers a completely redesigned interior space,” says GM. “Truth in materials. Intricate craftsmanship. Competition seating options. Intelligent instrumentation in high definition. The departure begins in the cockpit.”
You Can Order Domino’s Pizza Using Your Chevrolet
Don’t have 60 seconds to phone in a pizza order? This is for you.
General Motors has updated the infotainment systems on Chevrolet vehicles with a new Domino’s pizza ordering tool.
As part of the American automaker’s growing in-car Marketplace ecosystem, the app lets drivers place orders for carryout or home delivery using the in-vehicle touchscreen interface and Chevrolet Marketplace portal.
It would be too distracting and downright unsafe if the system let you configure an entire pizza from scratch, so you are limited to just saved and recent orders.
General Motors has been steadily growing Marketplace since its launch in 2017. In April 2018, Chevrolet partnered with Shell to allow in-car gas purchases, sparing you the trouble of using the gas pump’s magnetic reader and being the victim of credit card skimming. In November of the same year, Buick added Yelp compatibility to its infotainment system, allowing you to make restaurant reservations on the go.
The new Domino’s app works with any 2017 model year or newer Chevrolet vehicle that runs Marketplace.
New Chevy Camaro LT1 Is A Performance Bargain For The Ages
The LT1 is a serious performance machine that the everyday man can afford.
For the 2020 model year, General Motors added to the updated Camaro lineup, one designed to pull customers away from the Mustang and Challenger. The new Chevy Camaro LT1 came well-prepared for the battle, combining the content and design of the already popular Camaro LT with the hard-charging engine of the Camaro SS to create a serious performance machine that the everyday man can afford.
At its heart breathes GM’s 6.2-liter LT1 engine, tuned to produce 455-horsepower. The V8 can be paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or 10-speed automatic, both driving the rear wheels, and offers more than enough power to pass virtually every car on road or highway, not that we encourage speeding.
Just as impressive as the performance is the Camaro LT1’s price. With pricing starting at $34,995 (including destination) in the United States, it is an unbelievable performance bargain for anyone who loves driving!
The comparably-powerful Ford Mustang GT and Dodge Challenger R/T, in comparison, start at $36,350 and $35,790, respectively.
You can order your new Camaro LT1 in coupe or convertible body styles, and with LT1 fender badges, black bow-ties, a vented hood adopted from the SS model, dark tinted taillamps, a rear spoiler, 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in all-season tires, and red or orange brake calipers.
The interior can be equipped with Recaro sport seats and a suede steering wheel and shift knob, while the available technology Package adds Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system with an 8-inch diagonal color touchscreen and a Bose premium audio system.
“The new Camaro LT1 is a great choice for those seeking a pure V-8 performance experience,” says Majoros. “And at less than $35,000, it will be one of the most affordable V-8 performers on the market.”
With the relatively subdued looks of the Camaro LT and the intoxicating power of the Camaro SS, the Camaro LT1 is a bit of a sleeper that few will see coming. Do you think it is hot or not? Have your say in the comments below.

All-New, 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV Is A Baby Blazer
The new Trailblazer is perhaps not what you expected. It won’t be blazing any trails.
General Motors has revealed an all-new Chevrolet Trailblazer for North America, reviving a nameplate that hasn’t been used in over 10 years.
First unveiled in China last month, the Trailblazer is closely related to the new Buick Encore GX and slots between the Chevrolet Trax and Equinox. Its aggressive exterior styling clearly takes cues from the new Blazer, with key highlights including a squarish shape and a tall grille.
“The Trailblazer’s great design enables more personalization,” stated Chevy’s car and crossover marketing director, Steve Majoros. “Trailblazer is a continuation of the design language for Chevy’s crossover family and extends our momentum into one of the industry’s fastest-growing segments.”
Whereas its predecessor was a traditional SUV with real off-road capabilities, the new Trailblazer is optimized for city driving. It’s not the off-road beast most hoped for, and it probably can’t be turned into one.
The long list of standard safety features include Front Pedestrian Braking, Automatic Emergency Braking and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, while Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear Park Assist and a High Definition Rear Vision Camera are optional.
Sales of the all-new, 2012 Chevrolet Trailblazer begin in the first half of 2020.
